This Privacy Policy governs the use of the AD IMPORTER — Single Product Importer for WooCommerce Chrome extension (referred to as "the Extension"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the limited data required to run this utility.

        Zero Data Storage on Developer Servers: We do not operate any external database or registration servers. None of your personal data, WordPress credentials, or scraped product information is ever collected, transmitted, or stored on our servers.
    

1. Data Collection and Usage

The Extension operates entirely on your local machine and communicates directly with your own self-hosted WordPress website. To function properly, it utilizes the following information:

Authentication Credentials (Secret Password & Site URL): This information is entered by you in the Extension settings. It is stored securely on your local device using Chrome's secure local storage API (chrome.storage.local). It is strictly used to authenticate and authorize API requests made directly to your own WordPress website's REST API endpoint.
Website Content (Scraped Amazon Product Data): When you initiate a scan, the Extension reads public HTML content from the Amazon page you are currently viewing (such as product title, description, price, variations, and image URLs). This data is processed temporarily in your browser's local memory and sent directly to your WordPress site during the import process.

2. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or transfer any user data, authentication credentials, or scraped website content to any third parties. All data pathways are direct connections between your web browser and your self-hosted WordPress installation.

3. Data Security

Since your credentials and configuration settings are stored locally on your own computer within Chrome's sandboxed local storage, the security of this data depends on the security of your local device. We recommend keeping your web browser and operating system updated to maintain a secure environment.

4. Your Rights and Data Erasure

Because we do not store any of your data on external servers, you have full control over your information at all times:

You can view, edit, or delete your WordPress URL and Secret Password directly inside the Extension’s "Settings" tab.
Uninstalling the Extension from your Google Chrome browser will automatically and permanently delete all locally stored configuration data from your machine.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by changing the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
